I study how people and organizations use AI technology to create value.

I am an Assistant Professor of Digital Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the University of Twente and Head of Science of the award-winning startup ISTARI.AI and a research fellow at the Swiss Economic Institute at ETH Zürich.

My academic work concerns the economics of AI technology based on large-scale web data, the responsible use of AI applications, and human-AI interactions in knowledge work.

My practical work focuses on the development of organizational AI strategies and AI literacy.
